✨seasonal depression✨ ...and it's just October.
Okay, I don't know, I've never been to a psychiatrist. But I don't think this is how a healthy person is supposed to feel.

@CrazyMusicLover I feel like our energy drops when the weather gets colder and if you're susceptible to depression, it makes it worse

@Nebula Exactly and these times are pretty horrible regardless of the weather. It's not uncommon to hear people talking about war as possibility. How is one supposed to deal with that? Plus I already know that next year is going to be an economic nightmare no matter what.

@CrazyMusicLover Seasonal depression hits me, too. It's not just the darker, shorter days, but my not looking forward to the cold weather. I've always detested the cold, and my not looking forward to it increases my feelings of gloom.

@PhoenixPhail I don't really know where exactly is the problem. Probably a lack of direct sunlight that affects the body. Because I don't hate darkness and I actually love the first snow but I just don't feel right most of the time. A lack of seasonal fruits and vegetables sucks too.

I miss the seasonal fruits and vegetables, too. I try to not substitute with sugary things. But it's hard for me to stay away from sugar, although I'm working at it.
Meditating, appreciating all you have, finding enjoyable activities and spending time with loved ones can help for sure. Healthy connection is the best. 😊
