Depression is heavy but when it gets really bad I call it a flare up and I promise myself it will calm back down after a while. Hang in there. I'm happy to talk about it any time.

Looking at the comments I noticed that the right people have already told you the right things. My own contribution is that depression is just part of living. No, it's not a disease nor can anyone dismiss it as such. Talking to the multitude helps a lot. How about doing some charity work? Just to meet new good people. Take care!
