I'm sorry. I've dealt with both since childhood, long before I knew what either were. Meds and self care have been the biggest help. Don't get disappointed if you don't find the right meds at first though. It takes time. I hope you find something that helps you soon. Activit(ies) have been mentioned. Nature is my biggest healer and falls under my "self care".....

@MoonlightLullaby I like things to do with jewelry sadly I don’t have the money to buy like beads to make bracelets. Something I tend to do is put earrings to stuff animals I started in my teens when I found this really cute earring and I tend to buy packages of 3 dollar the max with a lot of earrings and I put them to my stuff animals for the anxiety but it’s been a while I haven’t bought earrings cus no money. I also like dressing up Barbie dolls and collect them it relaxes me my cousin an elderly woman gave me a bunch last year and I dressed them up and added them to a collection. I got maybe like 30 old school Barbie’s not including the ones I have since a kid I’m lucky I got all my stuff animals and toys since I was a little kid. I even sleep with my big stuff animals my dad got me when he was alive on Valentine’s Day but a couple of weeks ago I had to switch from my queen bed I had slept in for years cus it was already messed up for a full size and in struggling cus it don’t fit all my stuff animals which half of them where given to me or bought by my dad. The the last one I have was got by my dad in Valentine’s Day of 2021 sadly by February of 2022 he would be passing away 😢😭
@Kittyfornia

I understand. I miss mine a lot. I try to keep in mind that he wouldn't want me to be sad. I don't think it ever goes away, we just learn better ways to cope with the loss.🪻💟
