I Battle Depression

I have battled depression off and on most of my life, but I'm sorry to say it has actually worn me down. I'm tired of the struggles, the rejections, and the heartbreak. I just don't have the mental or emotional strength to pick myself up again and start over.
For those of you who are also fighting this, I know it's tough, but try to maintain friendships and relationships. That's where I failed and facing life alone when dealing with severe depression makes it a hell of a lot harder to fight when all you have around you is silence.
I wish each of you peace.

I do battle it and I feel the way you do at times.
What has helped me a lot, is to write the pain out and to just accept the fact that I am depressed that day. I am not saying this works for everyone, but for me it lessened the guilt. I didn't have to try to be happy or to hide it, I just acknowledged it.

I so hear what you are saying, or should I say live what you are saying, life gives us so many hurdles. I lost my husband so I know the emptiness you feel.
