So, I have this anxiety disorder called ruminating

Rumination is one of the co-occurring symptoms found both in anxiety disorders and depression. It is often a primary symptom in Obsessive-compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. When people are depressed, the themes of rumination are typically about being inadequate or worthless. This is what it is known for and I have it roughly every day when I'm alone for too long with my thoughts.

I can relate, that's usually the second sign that my depression is kicking in.

@minxy And it's hard to stop it sometimes. It's worse at night time, especially if you get up too early and you spend way too much time on your own thinking too much. It just creeps in.

@Ryozo! Usually I'll lean towards any mental distraction that I can find, but sometimes even that can't keep it quiet.
I agree, especially at night. it's open season.
