One day into August and already

I feel the angsty, cold feeling of death inside my body.
Started early this year. Probably because we only had about one week of summer in total this year.

August is my least favorite month. Several relatives died during August and my father’s manic behavior would be topping out. The heat mixed in and school starting back made me dread the month.
