17, depressed, anxious, on antidepressants, when will this all end.

Teens and antidepressants are a difficult mix. It's almost impossible to effectively treat young adults who suffer from depression with drugs.

I remember you from EP. I sorry you are in this battle. I suggest studying, psychology, chemistry,nutrition, biology will help you. You are in this for the long haul and need to understand thoroughly for yourself just what you are dealing with, the myriad treatment options, the physiology of your illness, etc. And being occupied usually eases my symptoms so it might help you too.

I study health and social care which is alot of psychology and I'm going to be studying nutrition in September at university, I've just been tested for hypothyroidism aswell as being told I possibly have a brain tumour, life just isn't going right for me :(

@Ridingtonewyork: Having Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism I really hope your thyroid is ok. And hope like hell you don't have a tumor. It sounds like a really rough stretch. Are you getting hugs and warmth in your rl? You need that now. Damn. Some years really suck.

I'm sure my thyriod is fine, just three tumour I'm more concerned about especially with it being near Christmas, I've put an appointment off for a few months so my family won't worry. What's Rl?

They usually don't like prescribing them to people who are under 18, guess I was the rare occasion..
