Maybe this was sadder to read, for those who are facing or have faced that crossroads. It would be even if wasn't you, someone who is such a bright light here. Maybe they couldn't find the right words, so they didn't say anything when they really wanted to. Maybe they were relieved and glad when they saw the edit, and hope very much that you weren't just saying that to assuage the concern of others.
