I’m sorry to hear that. My long time gf just passed away 10 days ago and left her heavy online spending to me and it is going to be rough.
Be strong find faith.

That must be so hard - to deal with everything at once. You might want to see a debt lawyer, if that's the problem. I hope your skies brighten soon. 🤗

Uggh... I wish there was something I could say... Hopefully things will sort themselves out... Maybe seek some financial counseling... They may be able to show you a way out
And now edited.. Bloody Auto correct!😡

I’m so sorry you have to go through this. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though. I promise

I know how you feel... Its just coming up to the first anniversary of my wife's passing... People say it gets easier with time... It doesn't... You just learn how to handle the pain and loss.. On top of coming to terms with the loss you have to cope with all the problems dealing with the paperwork from bank accounts to debts.. Government agencies... Local authority accounts... It seems never ending..

@braveheart21 omg! The damn paperwork is utterly ridiculous! And so damn expensive! He had just started a new job, so the life insurance was not active, yet :( 😞 its A lot

My suggestion is what others already said. Get financial advice BEFORE it all goes south. It’s overwhelming, but YOU will feel better.
The helplessness comes from waiting for the next blow from another discovery. Just watch who you give your sensitive information to. I strongly suggest a real live financial planning firm.
I am sorry your husband has passed. But YOU haven’t.
You can do this, with sound advice.

@Mamapolo2016 some yes, some no. I was let go of a job in 2018. Ive had very little luck finding sufficient employment since. So I've put together a "gig economy" based income. This is VERY stressful and definitely not easy. I live in Ohio, USA - the current political events have me scared as hell! The few programs i do benefit from are targeted by the incoming regime. So...I'm concerned, to put it mildly

@Lloorrii2 As are many of us. It’s a tumultuous time. I take comfort in the knowledge that there are many politicians who want to get elected again. They may be the buffer.

@Mamapolo2016 i hold no more hope...just saying

I'm sure you'll find a way to make the most of your situation after a suitable time of mourning.
