I Battle Depression

Everyone always expects us to be okay, and say that we’re fine when asked, regardless of whether it is true or not.
I was never taught how to be okay with admitting that I’m not just fine.

So I’m, fine, to others.
I deal with it, and ignore it for as long as I can, and I bury it in the deepest parts of my mind, and go on with my day, because I’m supposed to be okay.

And then, when I don’t have the busyness of my daily life to distract me, and I’m finally alone, it becomes really difficult to act like i am just fine.

All I can say is you're not the only one. I know that doesn't help, but you aren't. I've posted on here a few times about it myself. Depression isn't the same for each person and what works for me may not work for anyone else. But knowing I'm not alone and can vent and share with others can help, sometimes.

Just vent it and try to get past as best you can. For me, computer games can distract me in times I can't be distracted any other way. It's my way of getting through the worst of it.

Not much help in what I'm saying, but maybe knowing you're not alone might help a teeny, tiny bit. Oh and not stalking you, just checking posts as the come. :) Hope you can get through this rough time. Sending you a 🤗 if you want, but won't be offended if not wanted right now.
