I Battle Depression On My Own

It's hard when no one you know understands what you're going through. They say it's nothing and just go on with life.
They don't understand how hard it is to drag yourself to get out of bed most of the time because you have to not because you want to. All you really want is to stay still and don't do anything.
You've lost interest in everything that you used to love doing. Nothing to look forward to.
You're like an empty vessel sailing. No destination. No direction.
You breathe to live but without a life.

Depression is harsh. I was diagnosed with severe depression after four years of not seeking help. I was at the end , to end it all... Then I asked for help and I got it. If you need to talk , I'm here. And I understand you. It is NOT okay and it is NOT "nothing" or just "pretending" , it's serious.
