The best way to get help is to reach out to those close to you: Family, friends, even teachers and get the right treatment. If you’re already on medicine or going through therapy, you’re taking a big step in getting better.
While I am just a simple internet stranger who can do little to help, but offering an ear (well, eyes since it’s words) to let you release your negative thoughts.
Other things you can do to feel better for the time being is:
- Sunshine & Nature Let the sun shine into your house. Get some fresh air, go for a walk, however if it it cold where you live, so not stay outside long and keep yourself warm. If it’s the opposite, then wear sunblock and stay out of the sun. Too much sun could be a bad thing.
- Music Listen to upbeat and happy music. The good thing about the time we live in is that you can search upbeat and happy music on YouTubefoe an hour! However, if you are feeling sleepy or about to go to bed, calming music such as instrumental and classical music would help.
- Scents Lavender and orange, these two scents help calm the mind.
If you’re a consumer of tea, there’s a few herbal teas (such as lemon balm and chamomile) that help anxiety. Also, Yerba Mate helps depression.
I hope I helped and remember you’re not alone, there are bad days and there are good days. Never give up! There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm always here to help anyone in need, and I'm always free to listen if you want to speak. I can't promise I will understand everything, but I'll certainly try.
