I Battle Depression

I struggle with it, though not nearly as bad the past six months. I was in Prozac for a while but the ups and downs were all too common. Doc switched me over to Zoloft, which I took for a year and my mind seemed to level out. I got off antidepressants and got back into being outdoors, hiking, and exploring waterfalls. It's still tough sometimes.

If you have a physical condition that causes it or a chemical imbalance, chances are you will need meds in The future. You just can't will it away.

@Underconstruction I've been doing much better, staying occupied helps, so I go on short hikes and take in the scenery.
@Spumoni So you think your meds worked ?

@Underconstruction They got me on a better path, then doc slowly weened me off them, having me update him regularly on and changes that would not be beneficial to my wellness. If I can get a short hike in, ir walk by the river once a week, it truly helps me.
@Spumoni That is great, congrats :-)

@Underconstruction There's always that part of me saying, "am I really making progress or is it an illusion?"
"Baby steps" lol
@Spumoni If you feel calm and hopeful , it's real and you should enjoy it. Kudos to you.
