I hate how often the word gets thrown around and used. [I Have Bipolar 2]

I just saw a status that said "I wish the rain would stop being bipolar." I get it I do, but people assume that people with the illness are back and forth and not all of us are. I suffer major depressive episodes and my "high" are more like how a normal person feels when they're happy. It just sucks because it makes me want to hide it even more and I barley have support as is.

Oh yeah. That and “my OCD” for people who are cleaning their desk. And the r-word. Whole lotta mess.

I also particularly hate how much “you need therapy” gets used as a polite way to say “shut up.”
