@GoFish thank you, I know you are right just something the mind over thinks things

@Cigarguys yeah it's normal to worry about ones kids i guess .. i Israel they have special programs for special people to get jobs but even here in the states some manage fine as well anyway and hold good jobs and are independent and have good relationships 🙂

Teaching them life skills and independence is the best gift that you can give them. Make life as normal as possible and make sure that you have a support system. Always Make time for you and your significant other your bond has to be unbreakable because the stress will test you.

@Cigarguys of course it is, thats life . All we can do is play the hand that we are dealt. The saying that it takes a village is true. Lean on other people when you can and don't lose yourself in the process

@AngelUnforgiven we are so blessed to have an amazing support team helping us. So many people are helping them right now.

@Cigarguys thats a blessing. As they get older it will get easier. Just be thankful for what you have and enjoy life and every milestone. You are stronger than you think you are. There is someone out there whose child is a paraplegic think about that the next time you receive a hug from yours or see them running. We have to see how lucky we are even during the hard times.

I can only imagine. I worry all the time about my Godson. Who will be there when we aren’t? How will he deal w/out any of us around one day? It’s really scary.
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@MellyMel22 yes it is
