Last night was pretty bad

I knew our daughter was stressed. I should have seen it coming.

It started Friday. Her gift she and Joel ordered didn't come in time for my birthday. She was very upset about this. It told her it was ok and that we'd open it when it gets here. She said it wouldn't be wrapped. I told her that was fine. Than Star suggested that they would go out Monday and get a gift bag and wrap it when it comes. She seems to like the idea.

I should have seen it coming

Saturday got worse. She started that time of the month over night and we had to change her sheets. She was embarrassed and it.

I should have seen this coming

Then it happened. She put her journal on the counter and was getting a drink when our youngest sat his cup of chocolate milk up there. He ended up knocking the glass over and it spilled and soaked her journal. She turned around and saw the mess and screamed. I rushed over to her as she started hitting herself. I put my arms around her and she threw her head back and got me right in the nose. The hit was so hard I saw stars. I could feel the blood running down. I fell back into the floor Joel rushed over to her and was able to somehow calm her down. My buddy helped me up and got me a towel. I didn't want her to see me like that so I went into the bathroom. I got the bleeding to stop and cleaned myself up and checked my shirt.

She was calm but was crying.

She ran to me and hugged me telling me she was sorry over and over again.

We did our best to save the journal but it was pretty much ruined.

Thankfully I didn't have to give her the liquid medicine. She did want a anxiety pill.

Our youngest boy was also crying. It took awhile to get everyone calmed down.

So yeah it was a bad night.

Today was much better. Joel went to the store and got her a new journal and pens.

We had much calmer day today.

The chiefs win
We had a shrimp boil and s'mores.

Can it still be transcribed to fresh paper? A Word file? Or did it also have a lot of art?
Cigarguy · 41-45, M
@JoyfulSilence she said she was going to rewrite in into the new journal that Joel got her. Some of the pages were ok so we pulled them out and she is going to make a new one for them as well. They are very important to her.

That was a LOT of crying over spilt milk...(poor little kids). And poor YOU and your poor nose!!!
Cigarguy · 41-45, M
@4meAndyou it wasn't the milk, it was the fact that her journal got ruined and it is very important to her.
4meAndyou · F
@Cigarguy I know. It was the milk that ruined her journal, however.
