Another autism vent...? Sorta a question? I dunno

Yeah, I know I been going on about this a lot lately,

But do you ever feel like everyone is really quick to blame autism?

I mean like... Let's say someone has asd, (or anything really)
But let's say this person with asd doesnt like something or are having a hard time with something,
But then someone else just boils it down to that person's autism? And not something that would just hurt in general?

I dunno, it just feels like it's a little gaslight-ish

Just feels kinda unfair,
Like everyone else is allowed feelings but anyone with a diagnosis of something, then those feelings or reactions are just part of a condition and not a natural freaking human emotion/reaction to something that kinda is a big deal?

My opinion is that society tries hard to push people into boxes or create some illusion of a normal individual and any deviation from that is considered abnormal and worthy of a diagnosis so I'm starting to doubt many diagnoses in people are actually legit. Maybe it's just social media but I noticed how normal quirks or differences in sensitivity or perception are presented as symptoms now. You see someone listing stuff like "I can't sleep when the clock is ticking" or "I always notice flickering lights" "I got physically sick from strong smells" and saying those are signs of autism and suddenly you have a huge crowd of people saying "omg, that's me." Of course that's you because that's fairly normal. Lots of stuff is probably coming from overstimulated nervous system from the lifestyle we have. Same with ADHD. "I can't focus and I'm forgetful." Jesus, everyone is to some degree and being chronically online surely doesn't help. The point is how much it affects your life, your interpersonal relationships and the ability to learn new things and do the daily tasks. I believe that a person who managed to go through school system without any significant bumps or really sticking out in a class of average kids just doesn't need any special label. "High functioning" or "masking" my ass, sorry not sorry. If as a kid you had a truly neurodivergent kid in your class, you know what it looks like because they stick out. It's that one weird kid other kids talk about because of obvious differences in behaviour.
