Another autism vent...? Sorta a question? I dunno

Yeah, I know I been going on about this a lot lately,

But do you ever feel like everyone is really quick to blame autism?

I mean like... Let's say someone has asd, (or anything really)
But let's say this person with asd doesnt like something or are having a hard time with something,
But then someone else just boils it down to that person's autism? And not something that would just hurt in general?

I dunno, it just feels like it's a little gaslight-ish

Just feels kinda unfair,
Like everyone else is allowed feelings but anyone with a diagnosis of something, then those feelings or reactions are just part of a condition and not a natural freaking human emotion/reaction to something that kinda is a big deal?

I think it’s due to people either losing enthusiasm or passion or even compassion as the en and flow of time takes root in their lives.

They solely focus ont he selves and slowly become people who relate less and less to others and their concerns as time goes on.

Essentially it’s a dismissive notion. One that expects you to deal with your own problems rather than being sympathetic or genuinely listening to you. They’re in your presence but they haven’t actually heard anything you have to say.

It’s an unfortunate reality. Depending on others is a false illusion society has built. People say lots of things as though they’re factual when they are not. It’s why we can have these kinds of discussions involving these matters.

I hope you get better people in your life who actually “hear” you when you speak. Until then just know that you shouldn’t put too much of your own energy into energy vampires like that. They’ll just burn you out faster. Leaving you feeling misunderstood, and alone.

@AuRevoir yeah, true,
But it could just be my own personal gripe too...

I dunno, maybe my psychiatrist is right and I'm just ticked at all this and this is all in my head, hence the need to vent, lol 🫠

@Fishy If you’ve ever looked at a 20 sided dice, you can see that the dice would involve 20 different perspectives, were you to place a camera on each side of that dice.

In some cases the world operates like this. Multiple perspectives of an event.

However the purpose of the dice lies in the roll itself. And the number that is revealed at the top after its roll.

This is the only perspective that matters as it is the truth.

Finding the truth is easier than we often think it is. When we stop worrying about the 19 other sides screaming for attention just because they’re currently not in the limelight.

I hope you are able to cut out all the other noise and figure it out…
