Why do people look at autism like it's a bad thing

I've known several people to have it including myself and it actually is a fun thing because it helps you learn it's just people don't understand your social skills how you react and things you can't explain so they judge you because you're autistic

In my experience their lack of awarness can be frustrating and damaging the relationship. Like if I didn't know they were autistic, I'd think they were just a jerk to me for no reason and eventually stop talking to them.
But I know it's not their fault for the way they think, so I'm paying more attention to the words I use when we're talking.
