I Live With A Spouse With Aspergers

I have been married for 11 years. I don't know for sure if my husband has Aspergers syndrome or not but I think he does.

I told my husband and hes in denial.

Hes also narcisstic. He loves to feel superior than others because of his intellect and such. Thinks hes better than a lot of people.

Hes difficult to deal with. I didn't know or suspect until years later.

He also has traits of narcissism and sociopathic tendencies. He doesn't like touch. Romantic relationships have never been his strong point.

Maybe the problem is not what kind of disorders he has but rather who he is as a person.

From the way you describe him, he doesn't sound like the man of your dreams. Sometimes when we are not satisfied or happy with our partner we start fishing for labels, like narcissism, Aspergers and sociopathic tendencies.

he does have Aspergers in my opinion. But, as a mother of kidz on the asd program, I can tell you part of dealing with your kidz is part of what they do is their personality, and part of what they do is autism/aspergers
