Why does every second person think they have adhd

Everywhere I go every second person has adhd, if you go on reddit every post is about their adhd. I genuinely don’t believe this many people have broken brains. Some people are animated, spirited, have creative wild minds and are not suppose to be steady, focused, rote or rational. Also I think the younger generation have grown up online and have because of it have withering spans of attention. Really tired of every second person claiming adhd.

Aside from ppl actually diagnosed, I used to falsely claim to have these issues when I had a victim mentality and needed reasons outside of me to blame
