Why does every second person think they have adhd

Everywhere I go every second person has adhd, if you go on reddit every post is about their adhd. I genuinely don’t believe this many people have broken brains. Some people are animated, spirited, have creative wild minds and are not suppose to be steady, focused, rote or rational. Also I think the younger generation have grown up online and have because of it have withering spans of attention. Really tired of every second person claiming adhd.

Agreed.
We are a sm society consumed with diagnosing others and ourselves. It's the downside of the internet. Everyone and their dog thinks they can now google / research and become an expert.

@SW-User I couldn’t agree more.

@SW-User I think part of the issue is that people don't want to or can't afford to engage with the medical system, so it's easier to give in to the temptation for them to self diagnose. For whatever reason(s) they have a bad perception of the medical system. It is what it is.
