Do u have a short attention span?

No I have a discriminating attention span, which means if I'm not interested in something I will become sleepy and go into my own world because it is far more interesting there. But if I am interested in something then I'm set and I will be involved for hours and hours and hours even if it means not sleeping. As a kid it was so frustrating when teachers thought I had a short attention span when no I don't, it's just if I don't care about something it is agony to be forced to pay attention. Another perk of having ADHD!!!!
