Would you do this? Even if you WERE really nuts?
Last night I was sitting there in my lounge robe, reading, when there came a very LOUD knock on my door.
It was my neighbor from across the hall. She was leaning heavily on my door frame, and her hands were full of prescription bottles.
She said, " I don't know if you'd noticed," (I hadn't), " but I've been in the hospital for the last four days."
I think I said I was very sorry...and then she said, " I hate to bother you, but I don't have my glasses, and I can't read these bottles. Can you tell me what they are?"
THREE bottles...100 mg, and 50 mg of Clonapine....and another containing a hefty dose of Trazadone. She had me read to her which bottles were which.
So after I read her bottles for her, she thanked me and went away, and then my stomach started to feel really sick...just as it does now, typing this.
I mean...HOW can you not have your eyeglasses if you need to READ your medication bottles? And why on EARTH would anyone ever notify their neighbor in this way that they are taking HEAVY doses of nut meds?
Then of course, being nosy, I had to look the medications all up online...and I guess I have been put on notice for the future to REALLY be aware if there is a bad smell coming from her apartment. 😢😢😢
