I'm still super angry from yesterday

And I hate that I'm mad. But I'm not able to change my mood.

It doesn't help that I want to be petty as well.

Sounds like you are working in a toxic environment and if it's known company wide, it's not just your boss, it's the company. If you can, I'd start looking for a completely different company to work for.

No job is worth having that causes such mental/emotional distress.

@Ontheroad The rest of the company is actually really great. The manager of the department is new and really doesn't know her history all that well. He'll figure it oit to his own misfortune when people start turning over like they will.

I don't know the circumstances

but you can't work ever day in that kind of environment

is it time for a change?
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@Pretzel Maybe, probably. She has killed any chances she had at moving to any other department because she was constantly bad mouthing our old boss to everyone who would listen, so no one wanted to take her.

But she's been this way since I have known her. I had hoped working with her as a team and a friend would change her, but I think it has just become a part of who she is. She is no longer aware she does this as for her, it's her normal.

But I'm just done. Once I'm out of this department, her name goes in my black box so I can let go of my hate and forget about her for the rest of my life.

@FoxyQueen sounds like a good person to forget

and congrats on the new position

@Pretzel Thanks! 😊

What exactly did your coworker do?
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@Ferric67 She once again threw me under the bus and then topped it by saying I wasn't doing my job. That, in turn, created a sit down with my boss. I have never done this to her, yet this is at least the 5th time she has attempted to do this to me. Mostly she does it to take the eyes off her poor performance. I usually let it go, but she did it more publicly than usual.
