Just had a VERY productive meeting with my boss's boss's boss's boss. This was a follow-up to a previous meeting, which had actually resulted in my

boss being re-trained.

The woman I spoke to tonight I will call Ramona, for clarity. Ramona LISTENS to HEAR and LEARN..NOT to formulate a way to argue/condescend/find fault, as my boss does.

Like last time, I came to Ramona with receipts, thorough notes of documentation, screenshots, and story examples.

I told her the measurable ways my boss is affecting my mental health and work. I told her that, even if I have to lose my job over this..it is THAT mentally tormenting, that I am willing to do so.

I impressed upon her that I am a person who likes to leave situations better than I found them, and that I refuse to have her next victim's proverbial blood on my hands.
I will NOT be complicit in the harming of the person who back fills my position.

I told her that we are yelled down for asking "repetitive" questions that are NOT repetitive..and came with receipts that I had to ask my boss FIVE TIMES since Friday, for my temp password. So when my boss tries to say that she has to repeat things for ussss....🥴🥴🥴

I was able to share my screen and show her the actual Teams conversation where my boss tried to imply I wasn't working..when I asked a WORK-RELATED QUESTION, and had worked 90 hours that week. I CARRIED THE TEAM THAT WEEK.

I gave concrete examples of my boss lecturing me for hours, then coming to agree with my original conclusion, stated at the start of said meetings. She contradicts herself from conversation to conversation, meeting to meeting, day to day.

I told Ramona the ways my boss sets me up for failure and humiliation, and that this has been happening for 2 years. I believe it is clear to Ramona that I have major documentation, and since I have passed this documentation on to her over time..it is incumbent upon her to act..or I quit and go to HR.

The upshot is, Ramona GETS it, EXPRESSED a previous job experience where she had been in my shoes, and is being ACTION-ORIENTED. Additionally, she expressed that altho she doesn't know my boss terribly well..she would classify her as "uhmmm..INTENSE."

Ramona also told me that my boss, in her previous position, had come to Ramona CRYING about my boss's LAST department boss. Ramona said she is very disappointed at the lack of improvement, as well as the fact that my boss treats me the way she herself had been in tears regarding.

Ramona suggested we have a meeting with my boss's immediate supervisor. Ramona wants me to express to her everything I have shared with Ramona already, so that she is in the loop.

Ramona said that she:

- wants to determine if my boss is EVEN SUITABLE TO BE A MANAGER OF PEOPLE as she has had MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS about my supervisor, from MULTIPLE SOURCES.
- wants to show me the various possibilities for MY career, and wants me to likely transition to the EXACT POSITION I have had my eye on. Ramona oversees 4 departments. I also found out, tonight, that the position I want IS a work from home position! I thought I would have to go into the office!! I also know someone who went from my current position to that one, and stated that my current position is a 9/10 difficulty...but that that one is 3/10.
- has already BEEN advising my management we need to hire more people, and they haven't done it. She is going to enforce this.
- has already received talent outcomes and budgeted accordingly. This means that my bonus will not lessen as retaliation from my supervisor; it is already set in stone.

If this all goes through, my boss is about to be in a world of hurt. My only coworker is pregnant, and will be on maternity leave for 4 months starting in February. Ramona says she may be able to transition me as early as NOVEMBER FIRST, if I am amenable.

As always, y'all have been a true rock for me..even as i waded through sui ideation. Many of you reached out to me and listened to me cry. I owe you my life in real ways.

In the comments I will include my post from FB yesterday. What a mighty change one day can maaake!!

My FB post from yesterday:

Boss: 3 minutes before lunch: Do you have a second before lunch for a quick meeting?

Me: (Ugh what do you want) Sure

Boss: Calling..Do you remember that thing where we had to send letters?

Me: I mean...

Boss: It was back in March.

Me: Do you have any more details? Do you remember the carrier?

Boss: Pull up the tracker..this is why things need to be documented.

Me: (There are 30+ trackers) Do you mean the Provider Recovery Tracker (Where everything is meticulously documented, you btch)?

Boss: Yes. Here is the claim number.

Me: The only viable claim number I have is...(different than what she gave me).

Boss: i need screenshots to prove how you came to this conclusion.

Me: W-what conclusion...

33 mins pass of her lecturing me...

I go into research mode, and yes..the claim number I gave her is the one in question before they voided it..Notes are SO meticulous that I had: what was found in all systems, the CSR i had spoken to, the reference number, what the rep had said, all check details....

The whole time she was talking down to me, I was squeezing my eyes closed in literal mental anguish..contemplating sui. I am not lying..that is how bad it gets in my head when she speaks to me that way.

Something I said in the comment thread of my FB post yesterday, through tears:

2nd meeting, AGAIN she does this: 3:16pm-4:08pm she talked in circles, put me down, lectured me, and eventually got back to exactly what i had been saying all along...having accused me of doing work so shoddy it was an embarrassment in front of the client, that i need to "put my thinking cap on" and that the procedure she never taught me "should have been obvious to me bc i am an analyst"... and therefore should not have gone after this inactionable claim....I pointed out that the CLIENT THEMSELVES + SHE HERSELF were the ones who even had told me the claim was actionable in the first place, or I would not have worked it. She ran off at the mouth again that it was NOT ACTIONABLE bc it was denied...and said I should not work denied claims. I said but that is how we even find these..they deny as duplicates. I refrained from snarkily saying, "IT'S IN THE DENIAL REASON: DU PLIC ATE", the way she had told me that I should have known it was nonactionable bc it was in the process name "PRO VI DER RE COV ER Y"...then she came back to say it WAS actionable all along and that I HAD done everything meticulously..but ofc didn't use ANY of those words..and instead CONTINUED to put me down!!! I had created a detailed word document (to the point of @nal) with every last screenshot of my work, what the CSR's had said, reference numbers, names phone numbers, check and claim information, policy type/span/carrier..etc.
