Teen suicide has never been higher! Why? Divorce, fighting, and a loss of faith in Jesus is the reason!

parents are lost so they think yoga, and "finding themselves" will help but it has increased suicide and confusion in kids! Parents need to take kids to church and read the Bible. Kids need hope in Jesus! The LGBTQ movement has increased suicide!
Suicides jumped 29% among adolescents ages 15 to 19 over the previous decade, according to a report released Wednesday.
Adolescent suicides rose from 8.4 per 100,000 during the 2012-2014 timeframe to 10.8 deaths per 100,000 in 2018-2020, according to the new edition of America's Health Rankings Health of Women and Children Reportopens in a new tab or window from the United Health Foundation. Adolescent suicides also rose significantly in 10 states. The report captures 121 health measures based on the most recently available public health data from 30 different sources.
Trying to pray away the gay isn't the solution. The "LGBTQ Movement" has little or nothing to do with teen suicide rates, try looking at the teen suicide rates in States that don't have anti-bullying Laws and you'll see a definite correlation. Poverty is a much bigger factor in adolescent suicide than anything, as poverty has increased, so have adolescent suicide rates...

Suicidal teens were almost unheard of before the LGBTQ movement regardless of financial situation.

@Carazaa no, suicidal teens were swept under the rug and not talked about. It was such a taboo thing that everybody did their absolute best to avoid the subject, to the point of not ever mentioning the kid in my school who blew his brains out.

Stop blaming it on us. yes, we have a higher rate of suicide. Ever stop to think it has something to do with the fact we're considered worse than the devil himself in a lot of christian eyes?

@SarahAndSamantha Wrong! Kids weren't depressed until lately

@Carazaa an increase does not indicate that it never happened before. don't be obtuse. Depression absolutely happened to kids. I can personally testify to that as far back as 1983 at least.
Carazaa · F
@SarahAndSamantha Sorry that you were depressed!🥺
@Carazaa Cite ALL of your "sources", and I bet you 100 to 1 Vegas odds ALL of them are religiously based AND biased, WITHOUT ANY real actual scientific backings.

@NativePortlander1970 Read the news!!
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Carazaa funny thing is, I'm sorry anyone has to go through it. I'm also sorry it has to be made worse by people trying to sweep it under the rug or blaming it on things it shouldn't be blamed on, while simultaneously being the true cause of what makes being part of LGBT so much worse than it ever needed to be. All while blaming their god. While simultaneously claiming that the very god they blame their hatred on loves us sooooo much.

Your souls right over there....go search it

@spjennifer Prayer to The God who died for your sins is the answer to everyone and everything!
@SarahAndSamantha Well said. My mother conditioned me into my becoming gender dysphoric, when I confronted her about it in 2002, she called me a liar, said she never did the things she did, and refused to speak to me for almost a year, she recently told me she still hasn't forgiven me over that letter. She is also a very uber religious extremist, I cannot wait until she faces her judgement.
Carazaa · F
@SarahAndSamantha We have never had a less christian society than now and more depression and more confused children!
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@Carazaa False, adolescent suicide has always existed and has been on the rise since the 1920's until about 1995 and has dropped every year since then so it has absolutely nothing to do with the "LGBTQ movement" nor the "decline in Religiosity".
@spjennifer It always seems to be worst during times of war as well.

@spjennifer

Nope

@Carazaa I don't feel the need to pray to something that I feel doesn't exist, feel free to pray if you must but place the blame where it properly belongs, not on some perceived evil...
@Carazaa Cite your sources then, I bet you 100 to 1 Vegas odds ALL OF THEM are from religiously biased ones that have ZERO real world scientific backing to them.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Carazaa I believe we HAVE had much less christian societies in the past, especially since you can't have a christian society without Christ and he wasn't born until 1 A.D. or so.

Not to mention places like India where Christianity is not the predominate religion.

None of this changes the fact that depression, suicide, "confused" children and many other things have always existed, with or without God. So has joy, acceptance and many other things....again with or without God.

And...we've had this conversation before...if god was the answer to my problems, why did god ignore me for the years I prayed, asked, BEGGED for him to make me 'normal'? To take the thoughts away from me, both the suicidality and the feelings of dysphoria? There are two possibilities, God, for whatever reason, wants me to be trans, or god doesn't care about me at all.......of course the third possibility is that he doesn't exist. I honestly don't know which one it is.
Carazaa · F
@SarahAndSamantha We should never beg God to do what we want. We should ask GOD for his will in our life, to love him more. We are insignificant compare to God, but God has a purpose for your life are you living it?
@Carazaa You're so full of horseshit it's not even funny.
Carazaa · F
@NativePortlander1970 Abuse wont help you!
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@Carazaa You do know that the "United Health Foundation" is part of "United Health Group", one of the top 25 companies in the World, right? The are in the pharmaceuticals, insurance etc market of Healthcare with a market cap of close to $500B so I would take what they say with a very large block of salt... You keep citing a study from them, how about looking at stats from a legit source?
@Carazaa Abuse? You have ZERO IDEA what abuse is until your uber religious extremist parent whips the back of your bare upper legs and backside with a hot wheels toy car track until they're red and welted, some of the marks bleeding, all because you're NOT presenting masculine enough to appease her, even though SHE IS THE ONE telling EVERYONE that YOU should have been born a girl.
Carazaa · F
@spjennifer Watch the news! read the papers! As religion is decreasing, kids are told they are evolving from monkeys and to do whatever makes them happy and they are encouraged to "be themselves" so depression and suicide is way up.

God says
"Do not rely on your own understanding, but in everything acknowledge God, and HE will direct your path" There is real joy! Not temporary happiness, but lasting joy!
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Carazaa yes, I didn't begin with begging. I began with asking god to help me understand it. That didn't work. I then asked god to send me on the 'right path', and the feelings got worse, more intense. I asked god to take these 'impure thoughts' from my mind, to heal my soul. I was still on my own. I asked god to forgive me for whatever sin I had commited to make me feel this way. Apparently that sin was unforgivable. I asked god to help me cope with it, to push those feelings away, to see the light and love that I KNEW he had for me, despite the thoughts I was having, this was my tribulation. And the tribulation increased. I asked god for perserverence, for strength, to get through the dark days i was having, to light a mere candle to light my way. And the world grew darker.

At this point...I begged.

This was after years of asking. I broke down, I couldn't take it anymore. I NEEDED him, as I held that knife in my hands. And I was met with the same silence I had always gotten.

again, as I have in the past, I ask you, if he is the answer, why was I ignored?
