If everytime you tried to put yourself out there to meet people and everytime you get rejected and ignored, wouldn't that hurt your self-esteem?

If it's the same EVERY TIME, am I insane for thinking nothing is ever going to change? Giving up is the way to go, right?

I have realized , for myself, I sometimes think people dislike me and later discover I was reflecting my own self doubt on them.
It is hard for me socially, as I am anxious/awkward, it takes longer for people to get to know me because of that and my shyness, after awhile I , when I hang in there , I get more comfortable and can interact because I am more familiar with them and they me.
I will never be a social butterfly
Come to the conclusion, that I don't need to be.

I think it’s important to keep trying, but also maybe try out different waters. Part of the rejection may be that you aren’t looking in the good-fit places for people who would connect with you

Things will happen. Always give tomorrow a chance. It might be the same, might not be. Never know if already given up

Same thing happened to me. I gave up. I'm still not sure if it was the right decision.

I wouldn't say give up, but you are probably looking in the wrong places.

Keep trying. Youll get a good result soon enough.
