@bijouxbroussard American portions are always very generous. You folk must travel the world and see the white space on the plates and say... is this it? Where's the rest of it?

@Abstraction It was nice not to need a "doggie bag". It was fun explaining that concept to a friend’s cousin visiting here from Zimbabwe. "So this restaurant feeds you and your pet waiting back home ?" 😄

@bijouxbroussard Some years ago with a Ugandan colleague in LA for meetings. She couldn't finish lunch so got a doggie bag. Same with dinner. Same next day. We were laughing at how much food she had in her room.
Then someone took us to Claim Jumpers. I confess I was also in culture shock at this place. I looked at my side salad and said, "I could sprinkle fried chicken on this and feed the whole family."
She was completely and utterly in shock.
