I feel like I come on WAY too strongly in person

Like, I know I have to do what I can to make a good impression and then I become super aware of everything I'm doing and how it can be viewed and things just go downhill from there.

I feel like there's something wrong with me, but no idea what.

Your problem is fretting over making a good first impression to other people..

Why not try just relaxing and being yourself.. If someone like you as you are then you win big because you don't have to try and spend the rest of your life keeping up the act of being someone who you are not.. It's easy when people like you for you.. Little to no stress is required in being yourself..

@Adstar Good advice. It's something I have tried before, and it resulted in me worrying about whether I seemed relaxed and myself enough. I think my brain is just anxiety-riddled.
