2013 and/ or 2020 but i’d still say 2013. my dad died and i lost a relatnsp within weeks of each other. 2020 was similar but with a pandemic and some serious family drama (and another death) going on. Except the pandemic was useful at times, to avoid awkward situations I had to face in 2013.

The year my fiancé died in an accident a few months before our wedding☹️☹️

My bad years are so spread apart I can't say any particular one but the lockdown of2020 was horrible in a different way.

Probably this year, with the passing of my father.

Defo last year for me. Too many deaths close to me. And not enough time abroad. Sucked but were on our way to normality

88-93were by far the dark ages of my life

2020 was bad but I think 2019 was worse coz my husband got hit by a car and taken to hospital with a head injury. I managed to get him home the next day but it was a nasty time in A&E not knowing if his memory would come back.

2017 was the worst year of my life.

Probably 1969. Jimi Hendrix died, the Tate/La Bianco murders, Judy Garland overdosed.

2016, no contest.

I would say either 2008, or 2020. The former was my fault because I some stupid life decisions, and in 2020 I got laid off and was unemployed for 6 months because of the pandemic.

It's hard to rank just one sucky year. 1988 was tough because of a bad breakup, 2001 was a mixed blessing because I began a new job, but that was one month before 9/11. I would say 2019 because my dad passed that August.
