So do you actually have to get sleep to make the headache go away?
If so I am screwed because I can't seem to get a decent night's sleep if my life depended on it.

Do you not know of an amazing invention of the French? It takes away headaches in a snap!
It is called the guillotine and it was such marvel when it was first in use that huge crowds would come to see sufferers relieved of their head...aches!
