Melatonin will help some but you have to keep upping the dosage because over time it doesn’t work as well. I finally weened myself off it because I couldn’t sleep on it after time went on. Finally after a few weeks being off it I slept better. Timing is key when to go to bed your natural melatonin kicks in at dusk will help you sleep better and avoid food at bedtime will also help. I’ve struggled with this for a while now part of me getting older I guess. A Benadryl at bedtime helps me sleep better but that’s not good for an extended period of time either. Stress is a major factor try to relax and enjoy yourself with friends and family.
