Too much fatigue, gonna sleep

But first i'll tell y'all about the hot new theme Criterion Channel has going on, ... it's called November Noir, that's what i'll be watching when i'm not too tired. Gonna see if i can watch them all in curated order which i think is chronological. 1st up is Out of the Fog, Ida Lupino looks gorgeous in it, but what i wanna say here is about the Noir genre in general, what i love in it is how it can be seen as bleak.

I reject the mentality that automatically deems anything old to be wholesome, i welcome and covet the mentality that sees things in context of the social climate of its time etc. A dim view of human nature, no good guys or gals, murky, double crossing, dark sides and all that, i dig it in those old black and white movies.
