I Love Psychology

Don't embrace a label. They exist but only like absolutes and a way to interpret a part of a complex reality.
Much more if you have psychological issues, avoid them as hell, and mainly don't share with others. There are people who will interpret each one of your acts and much worse, will try to read you according to this label.

[c=#7700B2]Well said! It is puzzling to me why so many people want a label. Everybody's like, "I'm a Pisces", "I'm an intfj", "I'm pansexual not bisexual"... most of the time, what difference does it actually make?[/c]

@CinnamonWorlds: It's true. What you say, makes sense. Why do people want labels? I think that sometimes, labels are only excuses to avoid to face to things.
I will put a personal example. I once was diagnosed with depression. Ok. Now, I was hidding myself behind this label to do what, indeed, was the real cause for that depression, my fear to face to reality.
This is a personal example, I'm not implying everyone who suffers a depression, use it as an excuse. Much less in biological depressions.

[c=#003BB2]@twistermind: To me a diagnosis like that can be useful, but only if it is useful, if that makes any sense. Like if it helps you to understand yourself or your challenges, or to make sense of patterns you keep running into. So "depression" might be a helpful diagnosis for some people, but just a distraction for someone else, like you're saying. [/c]

@CinnamonWorlds: Yes, it makes all the sense. That's why I used the term " embrace" instead of acceptance.
