how should you react to someone who says or posts the word ' can't '

whenever somebody uses that word when talking with me, i get a bit paranoid and often take it out of context of which it was meant? in other words, i take it the wrong way and think that person is really implying or saying that ' i can't do something ' or ' there's something i can't do ' or i'm ' being prevented from doing something '......and i feel really angry with them, verging upon being brutally aggressive with them?

i know paranoia is at play here, i've had paranoia off and on throughout my life unfortunately..

but, can anyone help with this, to maybe look at what people say or don't say, or if the word 'can't' is said or posted, to see it in another way to stop getting really angry and aggressive??

well, you cant control another persons words, thoughts or actions. all you can do is ask that they dont say that certain word. if it bothers them alot, then they will probably block or ghost you, or in real life, just outright shut out you. if you are having alot of trouble with your emotions, then i would seek professional help.

@MayorOfCrushtown you used the word ' can't' knowing about my paranoia and that it triggers me? but you still used it? that is taking the piss and disrespect, and what did you mean by ' can't'??
@durinsBane1983 you said it twice.
