The Edenic serpent occupies the same categorical space in the Christian psyche as Lucifer, "bringer of light," On the same page he goes on to say, "The snake is a creature of the spine, a storehouse of intrapsychic energy, whose activation leads to ecstasy and enlightenment. The goal of Kundalini Yoga is to "awaken" this serpent, and to thereby reach enlightenment."
So Peterson reveals to us that he believes that that Lucifer is actually an electrical force inside the human nervous system called Kundalini that ascends up the spine, altering consciousness and leading to human enlightenment.

Peterson believes that the culmination of human enlightenment in an individual as a result of Kundalini process is the incarnation of a Christ.
