how do you deal with someone who 'insinuates' something false

at you directly or indirectly, you see them say or write something meant for you, and it is false what they're implying or insinuating.

how should you deal with someone who does that without losing your temper?

Look them strait in the eye and ask what they meant.
They usually hmm and haaa like they meant nothing bad
Probably not true, but accept it.
They want to get you riled up and usually quit and find someone else who'll give them the reaction they want.

are you insinuating that i'm trying to be someone else? because you don't know me.

@darkmere1983 no,not sure how we got there?
That sentence says nothing about you?
It simply states the person who's insuiating will find someone else to pick on when you don't give them what they want an angry reply.
You asked for advice,I gave it.
Kinda ironic your insinuating that I am saying something against you a person I don't know?
