I'm confused

I told my parents that I'm gonna pursue psychology, and they said that it's not promising (meaning that it isnt popular and doesn't have many job opportunities, saying it's hard to find job in that course.) I really wanna hear your thoughts about it. Maybe you could also give advice. Thank you so much!

If your heart is set on psychology then by all means go for it! I am not an expert on the actual opportunity out there 4-5 years from now for a BS undergraduate, but I do know there is more if you earn a graduate degree. Best of course is a PhD. But you have to start somewhere. Maybe with a BS you could go into Human Resources or even federal law enforcement like the FBI. Just some ideas anyway.
