@Teggy he is. But his conviction that he's a king gave him the right to scam women out of their life savings.

Mother over comforting him? Not paying enough attention?

@Teggy uh oh. That's probably answered best by a psychiatrist. I wouldn't know, probably a mix of things.
I only know from the documentary that his mother was ashamed of him.
I don't think he had a strong father figure and started scamming since high school. So I'm guessing probably high expectations of some sort?

I know for ex. Casey Antony started lying compulsively because her father is also a liar and a manipulator, so parents most likely have a role.
