Don't answer this question unless you have a doctorate in psychology. Why do I hate puns?

Do you hate puns? It seems fairly common for people to think of puns as cringey, but WHY.

@AuRevoir yes, what is your answer?

@SW-User The mind is the same as the tongue… We don’t by nature all have the same tastes…

Although certain people, if the right people came into your life, and prepared a dish for you that you wouldn’t normally like, you could find yourself enjoying it.. by nature who you are will always be at its core, and that’s what makes you an individual in this world. Your experiences are your own.. other people can enhance those experiences.. but ultimately you will like what you like and dislike what you don’t like..

@AuRevoir but, what I'm suggesting is that a dislike of puns is NOT a matter of taste, but a "built-in" reaction that a lot of people have.

@SW-User taste is a built in reaction though……. That’s literally it’s definition.. if you made someone eat their least favorite food they’ll likely gag.. even if it’s a completely normal food.. they just can’t stand it.. they were just born that way..
