On a scale of 1 - 10, how would you describe the pain you felt from your last break-up / divorce?
Breakups dont hurt people who dont care.. Its the feelings of loss or being unwanted that hurts 🤐

@SStarfish Yes. The loss hurts for most people because bonds are formed in relationships. Are you implying that you didn't care about your break up?
@BanPlastic i havent had one lately

I put 6, right when it happened 2, then 8 for years and now I'm down to 6. We were together 9 years but never married, just guess we couldn't progress into our 30s as we are both still immature. I tried emailing him a few months ago and he ignored me, its his email on his website so I know he saw it. So him ignoring me at this point helped me a bit because I know there is no shot. Always be weary of who your man is friends with, I'm not super jealous, we had fun at strip clubs together, but this girl that came in I'm sure is using him, I don't know how, but I guess neither of us see it if I can't, she made him push me away so fast. Thanks for the question.

8, it's a weird mix of anxiety and pain, these sorts of things do literally physically hurt cause the part of your body responsible for sending pain signals is also effected when rejected. Something like that. I ended up losing 18 pounds

When I realized that he was cheating, maybe a 6, when I finally broke up for good 1. It felt freeing. The time after; with him stalking me, threatening me and not letting it go probably a 3/4, and 8 on the annoyed/angry scale.

0 in fact because I still smile when I think of him.
BanPlastic · 31-35, M
@helenS Can you please elaborate? Were you able to experience a break up without pain? Only fond memories?
helenS · 36-40, F
@BanPlastic All I can say is I still like most of my exes, I am on very good terms with most of them, and I visit some of them for a day or two occasionally. The only pain I sometimes felt was when one of them felt pain because it was over. I don't know what else to say.
9. it was one of the most painful things i've been through ...

It's the betrayal that caused the excruciating pain. It makes me want to forget that person entirely.
