I Find Psychology Interesting

EXAMPLE SITUATION!

Jimmy Carr makes a joke "What's red and bad for your teeth? A brick." The audience, having paid an entry fee and hearing it out a well renowned comedian, will laugh (a high percentage).

NOW! Google "Useless jokes" and the exact same joke's on there. A HIGH PERCENTAGE people will NOT find it funny. It's read for FREE and easily accessible.

This makes one ponder the psychological impact between paid for and free.

they sit there in a room listening to a so called paid comedian and feel they have to laugh
or they've wasted money

block their ears and they'll laugh at each of his pauses between jokes
@butterflymind1 so you don't think someone watching a comedian's set on youtube for free would still laugh?
wasting time and money on bad jokes
laugh till you cry
