How far into the mental health system did you go?

I've only ever been to the mental hospital for 45 minute appointments.

I got involuntarily committed back in 2019 for a few days. Made the mistake of saying the "suicide" word in the ER and they freaked out, even though I told them I wasn't actively considering anything and that it had been in the past.

@FreddieUK Yes, in a few ways atleast.
They gave me medication for my anxiety
and also Anastasia (my psych nurse) suggested that I should try to play my synths for just 10 minutes (this was back when I couldn't play or make music at all) and that really helped.

Still a lot of stuff they wanted me to do was just stressing me out.

@H1raeth I'm glad you had some benefit. I know it's a sensitive area and I'm sure it helps others to know that it's not necessary to be ashamed of having issues with mental health.
