I always love hearing about his day

I’m always concerned for Desmond and how he fared getting through the day with his mental illness. He’s always able to tell me how without directly doing so, and it always make me happy when he’s able to say he had a relatively easy-going day. I know when he tells me had a busy hard-working day, it means his work was able to distract him enough to where it didn’t affect him as much at it usually does and when he doesn’t have a whole to tell about his day, it means it wasn’t an easy one. But at the end, he’s always able to get through it while keeping himself grounded and without being triggered, so that’s always something. I don’t know if he’s caught on, but no matter how it goes, I’m always eager to hear him tell me how his day went. 🫂
