Would it be selfish of me to move far away?

In order to get away from all the chores and drama forced upon me?

What if I tell you that even when I've been in the psych ward, everyone has been too focused on "who's gonna do this and that for me?" to consider the fact I'm mentally and physically exhausted? During my 4 stays in the psych ward since 2011 I never heard "how are you?" only "but I need you to bla bla bla for me"

From everything you’ve mentioned about your family, sounds more like a matter of self preservation than selfishness.

@LordBarbossa I can understand feeling that way but my wish for you is that you make the move despite the feeling. You deserve a life of peace and happiness.

@OlderSometimesWiser If I can find a house with enough outside space for my cat, and a cheap rent, I will. I don't see that happening, but I'm keeping my eyes peeled in case it happens.
