Well it's not addictive like lorazepam or clonazepam or diazepam. What it does is decrease your autonomic responses you are feeling as a result of your anxiety... slows your heart rate & decreases your BP. So it doesn't directly decrease your anxiety but rather decreases the bodily response to the anxiety ....which helps with severe anxiety or panic attacks. DO NOT suddenly stop the drug as your BP will have a rebound effect & could be dangerous. Not sure what else you want to know. It's also used for opiate detox as a way to control the BP, pulse, sweats etc.
