Mental health issue

Anyone here suffering from anxiety: did meds help you?
I am actually afraid to take anti anxiety medication and suffer after from side effects.
I would be happy to see some experiences before I take a decision.

I have anxiety. I did a buttload of trauma dumping, reflection, introspection but mostly drawing up and understanding the world around me and how people work.

So... That's my story. I needed control over myself from my awful shackles of my memories.
