Wait you actually have DID? How did you come to realizing this?

@CountScrofula I didn't. I thought it was common PTSD symptoms since the only thing I knew about DID was Jim Carrey playing a character with that disorder and that was Hollywood extreme stereotype version of it. And I couldn't relate to him at all so I rejected that thought completely.

It wasn't until I started my latest therapy that it was exposed. My therapist exposed it. And after that I started researching it more and suddenly things made sense.

I told my sisters and both weren't even suprised. They both had noticed something was off with me and especially my big sister told me she saw me become a child around her child. She didn't wanna make me uncomfortable so she never said anything but she has suspected my disorder for many years so appearantly I've had it since I was a kid.

@Queendragonfly Things are going okay with managing your health now?

@CountScrofula Thanks for asking 🩶

It can always improve. I've been without therapy for three years and that has been very tough. I've done what I can, read self help books, seeked support and advice from others with my struggles, had emotional support from people in my life etc. Distracted and kept myself occupied with hobbies.

Now I'm finally getting to start therapy again after a long wait. So I'm excited. It's very difficult to be in all this without a professional. And there's a lot of things that can be dangerous to approach without professional guidance so it all have had to kinda stay on hold and it's been a tough ride.

I look forward to profesional support.
