thought i would ask the question that he refused to allow on his trans thread and mental illness.

why is gender dysmorphia the only mental condition that people praise, encourage and support body mutilation as a form of treatment?
We do not encourage it anywhere else and all other mental conditions are treated with treating the mind.
Would you allow or encourage a schizophrenic person who has delusions that make him/her want to self harm? no, of course not.
Why is this any different?

this is not a anti trans thread before people come here with their fake outrage. Its a anti everyone thread. Those who actually support body mutilation as a form of treating a mental condition and certainly a anti you thread if you support this with children

Because Schizophrenia is easily treated with medication and has nothing to do with a severe phobia for your entire body. Schizophrenia is to be confused in what's real and what's not. For example my friend with Schizophrenia still asks if ET exists. He struggle to understand that what happens in a movie isn't all real. Doing surgery on his body would make zero difference. However some get electro shock therapy for it still.

Body dysmorphia is a phobia, as in severe fear. And to fear and feel constantly threaten by your own body is making most people with this condition suicidal.
They can go a therapeutic treatment they can get anxiety meds but that's rarely enough, so the most common help is surgery.

And it's not like you can just sign up and say "Hey, I wanna do a surgery cause I hate my body" it takes years of therapy and doctor evaluations and tests and you must turn 18 before this can even be an considered a future option. So anyone who are impulse thinking or just following a transition trend will not put up with the process, only those who actually need it will.

@Queendragonfly schizophrenia is not easily treated with medication. It can take a very long time to find the right doasge and type of antipsychotic medication that helps.

My point is when a schizophrenic person is having a delusion and wants to self harm due to it, nobody encourages and praises for that to happen yet with gender dysmorphia, that is exactly what happens.

gender dysmorphia is a mental condition. Not talking about body dysmorphia.

Surgery is only one aspect of it. Chemical transition is another. Again, if you're a adult. Knock yourself out but this thing does not just happen to adults. Its happening to more and more kids where adults are confusing them into making them think they're transgender and soon enough they are on puberty blockers and so on.

But getting back to gender dysmorphia again its the only mental condition that is treated any other way compared to other mental conditions.
